Foresemble, clearly explained

Questions,
answered.

Everything golfers and organisers need to know before the first tee.

What is free in Foresemble?

All 31 games, unlimited ordinary rounds, connected four-balls and events for up to 16 golfers are free. Guests never pay to join, score or watch. Only an organiser needing a larger event buys additional capacity.

Does Foresemble work without a signal?

Yes. Ordinary rounds, score entry, game calculations, history and locally saved data work offline. Course lookup, purchases and connected rounds or tournaments need a network connection.

Can golfers use the website instead of installing the app?

Yes. For connected tournaments, the same six-character event code works in the app and at foresemble.com/join. Spectators can follow the official live leaderboard and final result. A group scorer also needs the group’s private six-digit PIN.

Does a guest need an account?

No. Browser participants do not create an account. The event code opens public tournament information and standings; private group and organiser credentials protect scoring and event management.

Which golf formats are supported?

Foresemble includes 31 formats, from Stroke Play, Match Play and Stableford to Skins, Nassau, Wolf, Nines, Split Sixes, Vegas and more. Compatible games can share one scorecard, so each gross score is entered once.

How are handicaps handled?

Foresemble supports gross and net scoring, full handicaps or playing off the lowest golfer, allowance percentages, stroke indexes and round-specific tee assignments. Golfers and organisers should still verify official handicaps, local rules and submitted competition cards.

How large can a tournament be?

A tournament can contain up to 144 golfers and six rounds. Events up to 16 golfers are free. One-off passes and organiser subscriptions provide capacity for 17–64 or 65–144 golfers.

Can results be seen in both the app and website?

Yes. App and web participants see the same scoring rules, live standings, flights, team tables, multi-round aggregate and final result. Browser standings refresh automatically during play.

How long are connected results retained?

Ordinary connected rooms expire after 48 hours. Active tournament data expires 180 days after creation, and finished tournament data expires 30 days after finish. Organisers should export CSV or PDF results for a permanent copy.

What data does Foresemble collect?

Ordinary golf data stays on the device. Foresemble has no adverts or behavioural analytics. Connected play temporarily processes the event information needed to synchronise scoring. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.

Where are purchases managed?

Purchases are made inside the iPhone or Android app and handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions can be cancelled through store subscription settings. Used Event Passes are consumable and cannot be restored.
